Estimators are generally available to meet on site to discuss items specific to writing an Estimate (Scope) for your project.  We define our services in three categories to allow a specialized attention by ScopeWriters.   We work for Property Owners, Public Adjusters, Restoration Contractors, General Contractors, Attorneys and others.

Our highly experienced estimators have more than 23 years average experience in all types of insurance based loss types  We are well versed in national, state and local building codes and will confidently apply these within the original or additional supplement.

RESIDENTIAL | COMMERCIAL 

onstruction and Reconstruction Estimation for Residential and Commercial    property formatted through Xactimate software and delivered back to our clients typically within 7 business days.  Average estimates will contain thousands of line items when finished to present to your insurance carrier, SW Estimators provide a for same for same item replacement and code required upgrades that will be necessary in rebuilding your real property.  We are observant for items hidden behind parts of your building that others often miss and apply these items to a scope on your behalf - Due to real property types & your insurance policy coverage.

PERSONAL PROPERTY  | BUSINESS PROPERTY 

Content Estimation for Personal or Business Property.  Content estimates are meant to include all personal items that are not defined as real property. Content Inventory should be considered a mandatory item on your list when considering an average home routinely maintains 15,000 items and which will need to itemized to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.  Please note: This option is not available in all areas, please reach out to discuss.

CONSTRUCTION  |  CONTENTS

ScopeWriters provides you the ability to have a professional estimator complete your loss using Xactimate for a required supplement to your insurance carrier

1. If you have a scope completed and need assistance in only capturing missing, shorted or code related items, then select "Supplement" blue tab above.

2. If you do not have a completed scope estimate, or you do not believe that the scope provided by your insurance carrier is a fair estimate, Then select "Construction Estimate" blue tab above.

3. If you need only either a "Content Inventory or Content Inventory and Valuation", then select the "Content Estimation" blue tab above.

> 7 day advance notification required.

> Overlapping appointments on date and time will be cancelled. 

> Only one property appointment per estimate type is allowed.

Specifics

 

Residential Construction Scope - Our Fees routinely range in the 1.50%-3.00% area and are based on the total repair/replacement Estimate.  We do reserve a minimum fee which is $2,495 (Plus Appointment Schedule Fee), these fees are based on a number of factors (Location, project dynamics, loss value,turn around time required, Project Difficulty, etc).   Please ask about our fixed price package for Contractors.

Content Scopes and Total Loss Inventory - Our Fees are calculated 2.00% -6.00%  of the total loss valuation amount, location, etc.  However content scopes routinely take 3-6 weeks to completed - These are estimated, but may take additional time based on the difficulty of locating Like, Kind and Quality of the particular item. We do reserve a a minimum fee which is $2,495 (Plus Appointment Schedule Fee).
