Our trained estimators work seamlessly with your insurance carrier guidelines and contractor requirements, so that your claim is handled quickly. Estimators will meet you (The Property Owner, The Insured, or Legal Representative) at the claim site to measure, review & discuss items specific in writing the estimate ("Scope of Repairs" or "Scope") for your project. We define our services in three categories to allow specialized attention by a "ScopeWriter". We write scopes for Property & Business Owners, General Contractors, Public Adjusters, Restoration Contractors, Attorneys, Insured Parties & Insurance Carriers.
A ScopeWriter typically average more than 11 years experience in construction estimating and insurance claims in all types of insurance. We are all well versed in Local, State and National building codes and confidently apply these within the original estimate or additional supplement.
RESIDENTIAL | COMMERCIAL
Reconstruction Estimation for Residential and Commercial property is written through Xactimate software, a software that is recognized by anyone in the construction business and Insurance Carriers. Typical delivery after site review is within 7 business days. Average estimates contain thousands of line items when finished to present to your contractor, insurance carrier or others. A ScopeWriter has been trained to include all observed items for a complete loss document. We are observant for items hidden behind parts of your building that others often miss and apply these items to a scope on your behalf - Due to real property types & your insurance policy coverage.
CONTENTS - PERSONAL PROPERTY | BUSINESS PROPERTY
Our Primary focus at ScopeWriters is on Contruction Estimates (CE). - We do offer limited Personal and Business content list creation, Please discuss with your ScopeWriter at the time of your Site-Inspection. Additionally, we do have Professional Adjusters/Estimators that provide this service outside of our abilities. Typically, services of this nature charge hourly ($70-80 Hr./per person) or as a percentage (9-11%) of the total content claim. Often, contents lists may take 2-3 months to create and then get agreement on from your carrier.
Specifics
Residential Construction Scope - Our Fees routinely range in the 1.50%-3.50% area and are based on the total repair/replacement Estimate. We reserve a minimum fee of $1,495 (Not including Appointment Schedule Fee), these fees are based on a number of factors including location, project dynamics, estimate value, turn around time required, project difficulty, etc. Contractors, Please ask about our fixed price package.
